Burger King recently announced that it will have a collab with “The Addams Family” for Halloween, which also includes fun meal toys. The spooky season will begin in full swing in the restaurant chain come October 10. The collaboration features four menu items that take inspiration from the animated adaptation of the popular comic of the same name by Charles Addams.
Burger King introduces limited-edition spooky season menu and meal toys
On September 30, Burger King announced its Halloween menu, for which it will be collaborating with Amazon MGM Studios Consumer Products and the animated adaptation of “The Addams Family.” With the spooky season upon us, the Burger King and “The Addams Family” collab comes at the perfect time.
In a press release, Chief Marketing Officer Pat O’Toole stated, “Halloween holds a special place in our brand’s history, and we know our Guests look forward to seeing what delicious and kooky creations we come up with each year.” He also noted that since “The Addams Family” is almost always associated with Halloween, Burger King will be offering menu items inspired by the beloved characters.
Thursday onwards, customers can purchase Wednesday’s Whopper, Thing’s Rings, Gomez’s Churro Fries, and Morticia’s Kooky Chocolate Shake. Wednesday’s Whopper is the iconic flame-grilled Whopper but with a purple bun. It will be made of purple potato and topped with black sesame seeds. Similarly, Thing’s Rings are the crispy onion rings offered in “The Addams Family”-themed packaging.
Gomez’s Churro Fries are crispy churros coated in cinnamon sugar that will be served alongside chocolate dipping sauce. Moreover, Morticia’s Kooky Chocolate Shake promises a creamy soft serve with chocolate cake batter fudge. It will be topped with black and purple cookie pieces to keep the Halloween theme going.
Along with the menu items, Burger King will also offer a limited-edition line of King Jr. Meal toys for Halloween. The toys take inspiration from the animated characters of “The Addams Family.” The items will only be available while supplies last. Hence, fans must grab the limited-edition offerings as soon as they launch and while they are still available.
