Krispy Kreme’s “Ghostbusters” doughnut menu is here just in time for Halloween, looking deliciously exciting and spooky. The doughnut and coffeehouse chain has added four new themed doughnuts to its menu for a limited run to celebrate 40 years of the film franchise’s theatrical debut. These items come in different flavors, each with its own fun twist that customers can buy separately or in a limited edition specialty box.
Krispy Kreme’s ‘Ghostbuster’ doughnuts are limited edition
Krispy Kreme pays homage to the “Ghostbuster” film franchise on the 40th theatrical debut anniversary with limited edition doughnuts. The decorations on these four doughnuts come in all shapes and sizes and resemble one iconic ghost from the classic. The themed doughnuts are now available at participating stores and online and are here for a limited run.
The first doughnut from Krispy Kreme’s Halloween menu is the “Ghostbusters” Cookies N’ Creme Doughnut made with Oreo. This item comes with chocolate icing on an original glazed doughnut with crushed Oreo pieces for toppings. Additionally, it comprises Oreo buttercreme and a “No Ghost” logo candy.
Krispy Kreme’s second “Ghostbusters” doughnut in the Slimer Doughnut. This unglazed doughnut comes with a lemon-flavored green filling and purple and green icing featuring Slimer candy on the top. The third item on the limited edition menu is the Ecto-Sprinkled Doughnut. This is an original glazed doughnut the creators dipped in orange-colored icing before topping it off with neon sprinkles.
Last on Krispy Kreme’s “Ghostbusters” menu comes the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man Doughnut Pull-Apart. This creation also includes an original glazed doughnut with powdered toppings. Other toppings on this item include marshmallow-flavored buttercreme and the famous Stay Puft Marshmallow Man candy.
