Meeting your girlfriend’s dad is rough enough, but imagine that he was not only a celebrity, but a ripped one. Such is the case for a young man who is dating Mark Wahlberg’s daughter Ella, who was featured in an Instagram video.
“Ella is a lucky girl and I’m a lucky dad! He is a great young man,” the acclaimed actor and burger mogul captioned the pic.
The Joe Bell star and the beau of his 18-year-old daughter apparently work out together. (Because that’s not intimidating.) The pair recently appeared on camera wearing matching orange Municipal T-shirts in what appears to be a home gym. Wahlberg was wearing blue weightlifting gloves while the teen sported a goofy, eager-to-please smile.

“I used to work out to keep the boys away from my girls, and now I’m working out with the boyfriend. Imagine that,” Wahlberg says in the video.
We’re not so sure we could trust the nice dad act. Wahlberg could crush this kid in his fist if he wanted to. Either this guy has some serious balls or he’s never seen Fear. Better start liftin’, kid, because if you ever eff with Ella, you’re going to be in for the fight of your life.
