Antonio “Hollywood” Wood, the Indianapolis man who lived at the home where two young mothers were found dead from drug overdoses last year, was convicted Wednesday of criminal confinement with bodily injury in an unrelated case.

The judge in that case found Wood not guilty of rape following a bench trial. The charges were filed in 2018.

Sentencing is schedule for Oct. 26.

Wood has not been charged with any crime in connection with the deaths of Courtney Smith and Chelsea McKinney, who were found dead in his home in May of 2022 following a night out partying at bars along South Meridian Street.
