The Elon Musk-led Tesla has long revolutionized the automobile industry, particularly due to its innovative creations. The clean energy organization is especially known for its unique electric vehicles, which have effectively captured a major part of the market. Apart from working on its much-awaited Robotaxi, Tesla is also refurbishing its Model Y Juniper at the moment. As such, fans of the multinational corporation are eager to know when the revamped model will be hitting the markets.

Here’s everything you need to know about the proposed release date of Tesla’s Model Y Juniper.

When could the Tesla Model Y Juniper release date be?

At the time of writing, Musk or his associates have yet to divulge any information regarding the launch of their refreshed Model Y.

However, photo leaks of late have indicated that the company has already initiated the testing phase. A Tesla Model Y Juniper prototype was recently spotted on the streets of Spain, as reported by Autoevolution. The location of the leaks seems to indicate that Tesla could commence production at their Giga Berlin plant soon.

The procured leaks confirmed multiple rumors regarding the model’s features, first revealed in July. Although the spotted prototype was heavily camouflaged, several details were still visible in the photos. One of the most striking changes adopted in the Tesla Model Y Juniper was the relocation of the rear license plate. It has apparently switched positions from the tailgate to the rear bumper.

As such, fans have speculated that the model could debut in the markets sometime next year. A Model 3 Highland prototype was similarly spotted in Germany last year before being officially launched days later in China. Despite the resemblance between the two events, Elon Musk has yet to convey an official update regarding the release date of the Tesla Juniper.
