Taylor Swift has been experimenting with her fall looks, and very recently, she sported temporary tattoo-like glitter freckles from Fazit Beauty at a Chiefs game on Monday. The beauty brand saw its web traffic skyrocket by over 1000% and also witnessed a 2500% spike in sales. Swifties quickly traced back the singer’s viral look to Fazit, and the item was almost immediately sold out on Amazon.
Fazit cofounders Aliett Buttelman and Nina LaBruna built the brand in 2022. Buttelman and LaBruna’s idea was to propagate acne-positivity messages across social media platforms. Other products from the brand also include acne patches.
Taylor Swift’s glitter freckles tattoo is available on Fazit Beauty website
Taylor Swift’s latest viral makeup product is Fazit Beauty’s temporary tattoo glitter freckles. These come in gold, silver, and faux colors and are available to purchase on their official website.
After Swift included these viral glitter freckles in her Monday night game day look, the brand’s TikTok page shared a video of cofounder Aliett Buttelman’s heartwarming reaction. In the short clip, Buttelman sobbed in excitement and sheer joy upon learning that the Grammy winner wore their product. The caption read, “POV Taylor Swift is wearing your glitter freckle brand at the Chiefs game.”
Aliett Buttelman told WWD that the brand’s “sales and web traffic have skyrocketed by over 1,000 percent” after Taylor Swift’s glitter freckles makeup look went viral. Buttelman e-mailed the good news to the outlet on Tuesday. She further added, “Urban Outfitters sold out yesterday, and now, every retailer is reaching out to us.” Sources are calling this the “Taylor Swift effect,” which occurs usually after she wears a particular brand’s product and the item sells out.
Taylor Swift paired the flitter freckles with a chic Vivienne Westwood plaid dress set for the Kansas City Chiefs game against the New Orleans Saints. The “Bejeweled” singer also accessorized her ensemble with gold jewelry to match the freckles.
