Donald Trump Says His Ear’s Healed After Shooting: ‘I’m a Fast Healer’

Donald Trump has said that his ear has healed following the assassination attempt on his life, branding himself a “fast healer.” The ex-president said he has recovered from the July 13 shooting, which killed one supporter and injured two others.

The shooting saw Trump being grazed on the ear, with him appearing in public shortly afterwards wearing a bandage. However, it wasn’t long before the bandage was removed, causing many to speculate on the extent of his injuries.

Donald Trump questioned over ear injury after shooting

Trump was questioned over his injuries during Thursday’s (August 8) news conference, saying he had “pretty much recovered.”

“I’m a fast healer,” the presidential candidate said. “It was a hell of a shot, but I’m a fast healer. Yeah, pretty much recovered.” He continued that he had got “very lucky” and that the bullet had hit “the lobe, as they call it,” before erroneously pointing to the top of his ear.

Trump made the comments during a press conference at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. Speaking to the press for over an hour, Trump committed to an ABC debate with presidential revival Kamala Harris, and called for a further two debates.

In related news, Trump’s campaign recently released a statement denying a viral story that his vice president candidate JD Vance had intimate relations with a couch.
