WASHINGTON, DC - MARCH 17: Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) speaks a news conference in the rain outside of the U.S. Capitol on March 17, 2022 in Washington, DC. Greene and fellow conservative Republican congressmen used the news conference to highlight the story of Matthew Perna, who took his own life in February, two months before he was to be sentenced for his role in the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol by supporters of former President Donald Trump. Marjorie Taylor Greene Reports Jimmy Kimmel to Cops Over Will Smith Joke, Who’s the Snowflake Now?

Some people literally can’t take a joke. Like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, everyone’s favorite whack-a-doodle on Capitol Hill. The Republican gun nut and Freedom Caucus member was recently the subject of a Jimmy Kimmel bit – and was so mad about it, she reported Kimmel to the Capitol Police.

MTG, who has represented Georgia’s 14th congressional district since 2021, started this whole ordeal when she tweeted that GOP Sens. Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins and Mitt Romney were “pro-pedophile” because they planned to vote Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson onto the Supreme Court.

Her comments were in reference to fellow Republicans’ claims that Jackson had previously been lenient on sex offenders.

Kimmel flashed one of MTG’s “pro-pedophile” tweets on his show.

“Wow, where is Will Smith when you really need him,” he then joked.

That’s it. That’s all he said.

And yet, even a hint of inferred violence was enough to get Karen all riled up.

“.@ABC, this threat of violence against me by @jimmykimmel has been filed with the @CapitolPolice,” MTG tweeted.

Kimmel, ever the clever comedian, retweeted MTG and added, “Officer? I would like to report a joke.”

But if you thought that shut her up, well, no. This loudmouth has no mute button.

“You weren’t joking. You hide your misogyny and your racism behind your “jokes” on @ABC,” MTG tweeted. “This was a dog whistle to the violent left to assault me or worse, and your already inspiring fantasies of violence against me. How many new death threats will I get that are your fans?”

And on and on and on. Unfortunately, even if Will Smith and his slaps were available on-demand, we don’t think that’d be enough to stop MTG’s squawking. Who’s the snowflake now?
