Marvel Studios’ latest Disney+ series Hawkeye heads into its finale this season and Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) and Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) will have their quivers full. Episode 5 revealed Eleanor Bishop (Vera Farmiga) is in league with…drum roll…Wilson Fisk/Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) and, in turn, the Tracksuit Mafia and Maya Lopez Echo (Alaqua Cox)—who at this point doesn’t know who to trust. On top of that, Black Widow‘s Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), who has a score to settle with Clint concerning her surrogate sister’s swan dive in Avengers: Endgame. Almost anything can happen in Hawkeye’s finale and we’re here to make six mandatory predictions for episode 6.
Will Clint make it home for Christmas? If not, we riot.

Kazi Is The Informant
In episode 5, Clint told Maya that her boss/uncle/Kingpin was the one who ordered him/Ronin to kill her father. Although she claims he’s lying, Maya immediately began to doubt and question her right-hand man Kazi (Fra Free), who is now incredibly suspicious. It seems likely Maya’s relationship with the Tracksuit Mafia and Kazi will fall apart in the finale. She’ll probably even kill Kazi.

Laura Barton Is An Ex SHIELD Agent/Mockingbird
Maya bought that mysterious Rolex from the since-destroyed Avengers compound. In episode 4, Clint said whoever the watch belonged to is someone he used to work with: “they’ve been out of the game a long time but their identity is still attached to that watch.” Big money is on this watch belonging to Clint’s wife Laura (Linda Cardellini), who not only does recon for Clint but casually speaks German. The theory is as follows: Laura Barton is the former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, Mockingbird. In the comics, Mockingbird and Hawkeye are romantically involved. Also, the show seems to be applying that Laura has a history with the “big guy” aka Kingpin (maybe she went undercover?).

A Kingpin and Echo Showdown
It’s already been confirmed that Maya/Echo will have her own spinoff series on Disney+ and Kingpin will serve as the catalyst for this in the finale. Marvel Studios brought Daredevil’s Kingpin into the MCU for a reason, and that is the reason will likely have to do with Echo. In the comics, both she and Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox) deal with Kingpin. That being said, Echo’s series will probably feature both characters.
Side note: Eleanor will be arrested and Jack Duquesne (Tony Dalton) vindicated. In fact, he and Kate will make nice as he mentors the new Hawkeye as the Swordsman did with the OG in the comics.

Clint And Yelena Will Have A Heart To Heart
Black Widow’s post-credits scene saw Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) lead Yelena to believe Clint was responsible for Natasha's death—she wants to kill her late sister’s best friend, who already feels guilty enough. Suffice to say, these two need to have a chat. In episode 5, Yelena went off on Kate about how “The trail of blood that follows [Clint], you could wrap around the entire world.” The same could be said for her. These two will go head-to-head in the finale before Yelena realizes they’re not so different.

Clint Retires
Aside from Hulk and Thor, Clint is the only founding Avenger still active in the MCU. And he’s old and powerless. Hawkeye has focused on Clint’s hearing loss, world-weariness, and desire to spend more time with his family. The finale will see him embrace his status as a hero (something he’s been fighting) before riding off into the sunset and passing his mantle to Kate.
Or, he dies.

Clint Has No Idea Who Peter Parker Is ('No Way Home' Spoilers)
No Way Home Spoilers!!!
Peter Parker/Spider-Man is an Avenger. Therefore, Clint knows Spider-Man’s secret identity. In Spider-Man: Far From Home’s credits scene, Mysterio revealed Spider-Man’s secret identity to the world. Everyone knows what Clint knows/knew. Hawkeye and Spider-Man: No Way Home overlap on the MCU timeline. In No Way Home, Peter goes to Doctor Strange for help making the world forget he is Spider-Man. While the spell goes awry, by the end of the movie, they end up erasing Peter Parker from everyone’s memory. As far as the MCU is concerned, he doesn’t exist. That being said, episode 6 of Hawkeye will refer to Spider-Man—Clint won’t know who he is, which is a fun No Way Home Easter Egg for fans.
