Marvel Studios’ latest Disney+ series, Hawkeye, has spent four episodes fine-tuning the Lethal Weapon-esque dynamic of Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) and Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld). One’s too old for this shit and the other unpredictable and sporting beautiful brunette locks. The Christmas romp follows Clint and Kate after the latter dons the Ronin persona, provoking a whole lot of “bros”—from the Tracksuit Mafia and Maya Lopez/Echo (Alaqua Cox) to a not-so-mysterious “Uncle.” Episode 4, unmasked Black Widow’s Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), who has a score to settle with Clint concerning her surrogate sister’s swan dive in Avengers: Endgame. Anything can happen/be revealed in the MCU series’ final episodes, and we’re here to predict episode 5.
Will Cint make it home for Christmas? Yes.

Yelena Returns for Round Two
In episode 4, Yelena, wearing some comic book accurate gear, jumped Clint on a nearby rooftop while Kate battled Maya in the latter’s apartment. The resulting three-way fight unmasked Yelena—who Clint doesn’t recognize as anyone beyond a Black Widow assassin. At this point, Kate drew back her bow and aimed it at Yelena, who gave Kate a look like “don’t mess with me.” It’s safe to say the two will go head-to-head soon enough, saving Yelena’s emotional showdown with Clint for the finale.
Refresher: Black Widow’s post-credits scene saw Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) lead Yelena to believe Clint was responsible for Natasha's death—she wants to kill her late sister’s best friend, who already feels guilty enough. Suffice to say, these two need to have a chat.

This Bitch Is Totally Up to Mischief
Everyone thinks Kate’s pending stepfather, Jack Duquesne (Tony Dalton) aka Marvel Comics’ Swordsman is “sus,” and that’s exactly why he’s not a baddie. Jack actually seems like a stand-up guy despite misquoting Forrest Gump. It’s much more likely that Kate’s mom, Eleanor Bishop (Vera Farmiga), is the one who killed Armand and the mastermind behind “Uncle”s money laundering. She may even have been the one to call for Yelena. When she’s not making suspicious phone calls, she’s telling Clint to forget about a case.

Laura Barton Is An Ex SHIELD Agent/Mockingbird
Maya bought that mysterious Rolex from the since-destroyed Avengers compound. In episode 4, Clint says whoever the watch belonged to is someone he used to work with: “they’ve been out of the game a long time but their identity is still attached to that watch.” Big money is on this watch belonging to Clint’s wife Laura (Linda Cardellini), who not only does recon for Clint but casually speaks German. The theory is as follows: Laura Barton is the former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, Mockingbird. In the comics, Mockingbird and Hawkeye. So, yeah.

‘Uncle’ Will Be Revealed as Kingpin
Episode 3’s beginning flashback showed young Echo with a mysterious man, “Uncle,” in a black suit (as seen above). Many assume this figure to be Daredevil’s Wilson Fisk/Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio). Kingpin MCU’s debut is a big deal—it’ll essentially mark the resurrection of Marvel’s Netflix shows but, most importantly, Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock/Daredevil, who is already rumored to be appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home this week. It’s worth noting that Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige, recently confirmed that Cox is the MCU’s Daredevil. So, D’Onofrio is almost certainly showing up in Hawkeye and his reveal will happen in episode 5.

Hawkeye Has No Idea Who Spider-Man Is
Peter Parker/Spider-Man is an Avenger. Therefore, Clint knows Spider-Man’s secret identity. In Spider-Man: Far From Home’s credits scene, Mysterio revealed Spider-Man’s secret identity to the world. Now, everyone knows what Clint knows/knew. Hawkeye and Spider-Man: No Way Home overlap on the MCU timeline. In No Way Home, Peter goes to Doctor Strange for help making the world forget he is Spider-Man. While the spell goes awry, by the end of the movie, they’ll figure it out. That being said, episode 5 of Hawkeye will refer to Spider-Man—Clint won’t know who he is, which is a subtle, yet effective No Way Home tease for fans headed to the theaters this weekend.
