LAFAYETTE — Purdue basketball's career scoring leader will headline the Tippecanoe Sports Collectibles Show this Saturday.

Rick Mount will be among the guests fans can meet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 20 in the west wing at the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds, 1406 Teal Road, Lafayette.

Admission is $5 per person, with children 12 and under free. The first 150 through the door will receive gift bags.

Mount, who scored 2,323 points from 1967-70, is available for a meet and greet at $25 per person. Mount led the Boilermakers to the 1969 NCAA championship game and in 1966 became the first high school athlete to grace the cover of Sports Illustrated.

His 28.8 career points per game ranks second all-time to Mount. Schellhase will be on hand to sign his new book "The Schellhase Story: Rise, Fall, Redemption." Schellhase will be signing at no charge.

Two Purdue athletes coming off stellar freshman seasons: football's Dillon Thieneman and volleyball's Chloe Chicoine, as well as sophomore All-American volleyball player Eva Hudson and former men's basketball player Todd Foster also will be signing autographs.

Memorabilia booths also will be set up in the event organized by Railsplitters Authentics.
